Working together means looking at what each of us adds, wants and arranges, in your context and for what matters to you.

I work with leaders, teams and organisations when something matters. A strategy being set, a capital allocation process, a technology transformation, a new operating model. And something is stuck. A decision that keeps circling. A plan that is delayed. A conflict inside or between teams.

If some of this is recognisable from your own rooms, there is something to work with.

I stay with what is being seen and what is being made of it, while the action and the results are being decided. Those are the moments I work in.

I work with teams while they are deciding, and with people on their own between those times.

What we commit to

Direct experience before explanation. An account of why we read something a certain way is another read. We practise noticing when that happens.

Rigour. I come prepared. What we look at is held to the same standard as the content it concerns.

What has been arranged is visible and open to change. I say what I have set up and why, and ask what I have missed.

We keep practising. Some of it will look like tools and techniques, and repetition does help. What it builds is not a skill. It keeps attention on something attention does not naturally stay on.

The invitation

If something here matches what you see, write to me.

I would want to hear about your purposes, your context, and what you notice about leadership. And I would offer a view.
